I know you covered home phones, but I wanted to add – cut out the contract cell phones with all the additional fees. They have prepaid plans now for as little as $45 for unlimited monthly service and even cheaper if you don’t use many daytime minutes … I pay about $75 a month for cell phone service, but I don’t have a house phone at all so I think that this is a pretty good price
